Grant is a member of 8090’s investment team focused on Industrial Decarbonization across Energy, Oil & Gas, Transportation, and Climate Mitigation.

Prior to 8090, Grant spent time in the Energy sector with Williams Companies. He held roles within Engineering, Operations, Trading and Business Development. In his last role he led Williams’ CVC Fund which closed investments in companies in the Emissions Monitoring, Emissions Certification, Pipeline Integrity, and Hydrogen spaces.

Grant has worked across the country on pipeline assets from Texas to Louisiana to Pennsylvania – and has seen the many efforts that construct the energy economy of the present day. He has a passion for integrating innovative technologies and business practices into the existing infrastructure of our world. He is motivated to usher innovative ideas to the industrial giants that support our standard of living, and is looking to align promising new strategies within the mission of the incumbents. By connecting ground-breaking technologies with the world, Grant hopes to create a bright and sustainable future for communities around the world.

Grant holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Texas – McCombs School of Business. He was a TEX-E Innovation Fellow in collaboration with Greentown Labs and MIT while in Business School, and is also a licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) in the State of Texas.
