Alex Garcia is a Partner at 8090 Industries, where he leads investment efforts from the Nexus Growth Fund, focusing on AI applications, AI infrastructure, robotics, and defense. Prior to joining 8090, Alex was an investor at MGX, where he focused on growth equity investments across the artificial intelligence ecosystem. He also played a key role in growing the direct technology investing practice at Mubadala Investment Company.
Earlier in his career, Alex invested in technology growth equity at Summit Partners and in TMT private and public credit at Guggenheim Partners. Alex holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
